Loretta left us last October at the age of 90. She also left a beloved catalog of songs that span a glorious and groundbreaking career. Come help us celebrate Loretta’s legacy with some of the region’s finest purveyors of country music.

– ALL AGES- LIMITED PATIO SEATING IS FIRST COME FIRST SERVEHANNAH BETHEL Storytelling permeates throughout popular music, but few songwriters can stop you in your tracks and transport you to a specific moment in time, making you feel love, heartbreak, and nostalgia quite like Hannah Bethel. Her ability to tap into deeply personal songwriting was the turning point for her, and beginning in 2018, provided a trilogy of breakthrough songs, including “Train,” “Rhinestone Rodeo,” and the emotionally riveting “The House Is on Fire,” the latter of which won top honors in the Americana category of the 2019 International Songwriting Competition. Blurring the lines between Americana, country, folk, rock and pop, her artistry reflects who she is: a fiercely independent, wild, and untamed spirit. It was Bethel’s destiny to become a performer and songwriter. Born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, and raised in Houghton, Michigan, she studied dance as a child, and later drew musical influences from Seventies rock and country music artists Tom Petty, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, and Willie Nelson. Driven to carve out her own musical style, she took up the guitar, and began honing her own talents as a teenaged singer-songwriter traveling the upper Midwest performing at fairs, bars, talent shows, coffee houses, shopping malls and country western shows. She self-released her first record at age 17, and the following year she moved to Nashville where she released three more albums over a six-year span. Bethel’s stellar 2022 EP, ‘Until the Sun Comes Back Around,’ leads you through the culmination of the past few years of her life, and the surrender to her own truth. This watershed period of creativity provided the fire power behind the EP’s critically acclaimed songs, “Bad News Baby,” “Someone’s Woman,” and “On the Way Down.” Bethel has received accolades from Maverick, The Washington Post, Billboard, Holler Country, Taste of Country, Country Music People, Americana Highways and others. Her music has garnered airplay on indie rock, Americana, and country radio outlets across the globe, including WRLT Lightning 100, WMOT Roots Radio and WSM, and her videos have been featured on CMT, Ditty TV, and The Country Network. In 2022, she took home the award for “Best Female Vocalist” at the 2022 Appalachian Arts and Entertainment Awards. She is also a proud endorsee of Gretsch, Furch and Taylor Guitars.

She is a Soulful Americana artist who draws on her myriad of life experiences for inspiration. While traversing the dusty back roads and often forgotten places she taps into the heart and soul of our shared existence. Keturah believes that music has the power to bring all of us together and reminds us that love, kindness and compassion always shine through the darkness of these often trying times.

– ALL AGES- LIMITED PATIO SEATING IS FIRST COME FIRST SERVEROOTS AND DORERoots and Dore are an American blues, soul and roots duo from the music-rich mountains of Asheville, North Carolina. They are currently among the busiest performing acts in the southeastern US. Having played 150-200 shows annually for the past 15 years. They have made a name for themselves in the blues world by opening for national blues acts, (Eric Gales, Bob Margolin , Mac Arnold, Maria Muldaur, John Dee Holeman, John Primer, Samantha Fish and many others) they’ve playing festivals nationally and internationally and their original music is being played on dozens of radio stations, locally and around the world. Roots and Dore released their last album The Blues and Beyond to a wave of awesome reviews. (Featuring special guest appearances by “Steady Rolling” Bob Margolin of Muddy Waters Band, along with Doc Watson’s partner and multiple Grammy winner David Holt and Tony Black, bass player for Marshall Tucker Band.) Always a good time had by everyone when Roots and Dore are doing their thing for folks at shows.

While her diverse musical background spans many decades and genres, her latest album of original music, slated for release later this year, hones in on her love of jazz, bossa nova and R&B to deliver a collection of songs that both soothe and stir the soul.Cynthia has developed an impressive musical presence in Asheville in the 5 years she has called it home. Currently leading 3 bands — MOOD RING (90s/2000s pop, R&B), Para Gozar (Cuban son, bolero), and The Knockin Boots (honky tonk) — and a frequent contributor to many other local projects, she averages 250+ performances a year. She also surrounds herself with top-notch musicians from the Asheville scene. The band features Duane Simpson (Dirty Logic, Saint Disruption) on guitar, Eli Kahn (After Ours, Orange Moon) on bass, and Evan Martin (The Honeycutters, The Core) on drums.Presenting her original music is a dream come true for Cynthia, and has been a long time in the making. She spent most of her 20s rambling around the US, Spain and France, formative years that would inform her musical tastes and inspire many songs. Her band during that time would feature these songs occasionally, but only as a supplement to their repertoire of vintage jazz and eclectic covers. Once she settled in Asheville, the name of the game was getting as much work as possible, and again, her original music took a backseat to the development of her nowrobust gigging career. While she loves being able to connect with audiences through cover songs they know and love, she is beyond proud and excited to take this step into sharing an even deeper experience, and she hopes that one day her listeners will sing her own songs back to her.

– ALL AGES- LIMITED PATIO SEATING IS FIRST COME FIRST SERVETHE WHISKEY CHARMERS The Whiskey Charmers are a Detroit-based band led by Carrie Shepard and Lawrence Daversa. Fans have often compared their sound to riding through the desert with the top down, or the feeling of being in some lonesome smoky bar off the side of an abandoned highway, or music from a Spaghetti Western. William P Davis (Former Deputy Director of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville) says of the band, “I’ve heard a lot of good musicians. The Whiskey Charmers remind me of no one – and, to me, that is one of the best compliments an act can receive.” The Whiskey Charmers are currently touring to promote their fourth album “On The Run” which Ken Capobianco, Boston Globe Music Critic described as a “Sharply executed and evocative set of Americana rock filled with superbly arranged songs about the struggle to find connections, a sense of home, and a center in a ghost town of a world”. The rest of their discography includes a self titled album (2015) and “The Valley” (2017) which received a Detroit Music Award for Outstanding Country Recording, and “Lost on the Range” (2020), which received a Detroit Music Award for Outstanding Americana Recording. Many fans have found The Whiskey Charmers through the video game “Detroit: Become Human” which is set in their home city in the near future world of 2038 and has sold more then eight million copies worldwide. The band is working on their fifth full length record, set to release at the end of 2023.

– ALL AGES- LIMITED PATIO SEATING IS FIRST COME FIRST SERVEHIGHLAND REVERIE Influenced by the rich musical heritage of Appalachia, Luke and Madison Morris’ sound is rooted in the folk traditions they grew up in. Nonetheless, they use folk tradition as a jumping-off point into new sonic landscapes and imaginative songwriting. After crossing paths at bluegrass festival, the duo began playing together regularly in 2018. Highland Reverie just released their self-titled debut album back in January. Their lead singles, “Real World” and “Father Time” were featured on Spotify’s editorial playlists, “Indie Bluegrass” and “Grassroots.”The first part of their name “Highland” simply refers to the area they call home. Old-time and bluegrass music from the Appalachian highlands is the foundation for everything they create. The second part of their name “Reverie” is a noun that describes a daydream or a trance. It is used in a musical context to describe music that provokes a dream-like, meditative state. Their lyrics and smooth harmonies take the front seat while soft arrangements help to tell the story of each song. Together, Luke and Madison Morris bring a modern take on tradition that continues to evolve while remaining rooted in the music of Appalachia.

Identified by our lyrical storytelling, rich three-part harmonies, and dynamic instrumentation, Arnold Hill brings presence and energy to every stage we play.Arnold Hill released our first original LP, “Back To Life”, in 2019. As a follow-up to the success of our first album, Arnold Hill has released our second album, “How To Run” in 2021. Both albums can be found on all major streaming platforms. We are currently working on a ton of new material and look forward to releasing 2 EPs in 2023!

Not only does he play guitar and sing in the Psycho-DeVilles, but works on custom cars and motorcycles, does hand pinstriping and really just about anything you can imagine on a car or bike. He even has hand pinstriped 342 official special edition “Hot Rod Walt” Gretsch Guitars with over 500 in total. He also has a pretty cool car collection that includes a couple 51 Mercs, a 32 Ford and the famed 34 coupe “Yellow Jacket” Hot Rod Walt and the Psycho DeVilles were formed in 2002. They have released 10 CDs… “Out of the Garage and Onto the Street”, “Psycho Cadillac”, “Supercharger”, “Night Prowler”, “Rockabilly Rodeo”, “Country Gold”, “Rock N Roll Life”, “Motor Honey”, “Swingin’ On the Moon”, and “Rumble Road”. He also takes great pride in being endorsed by Gretsch Guitars…….. Nothing else compares.Hot Rod Walt shares the stage with two talented and loyal musicians……Burford T Ogletree on the Upright bass and Steve “Burnout” Barnett the hard hittin’ punk rock drummer that never runs out of energy. Together the Psycho-DeVilles perform a super high energy show. Singing songs about hot rod cars and mean women……………..The Psycho-DeVilles have had the pleasure of being a part of many TV shows. In 2010 on “Auction Kings” on the Discovery Channel Hot Rod Walt auctioned off his Pink 1960 Cadillac. Also in 2010 “Cafe’ Racer” on Discovery HDTheater/Velocity, where they brought him a custombuilt Cafe Racer motorcycle to test ride and build a story on the band. In 2011 they sent HRW off to the famous Hawleywoods Barbershop for a story on the Pompadour. In 2012 they made and featured a Music video of their song “Ton Up”. In 2013 The Psycho-DeVilles were featured in the Lifetime Movie “Ring of Fire” with Jewel and Matt Ross as Johnny Cash and June Carter as the “Tennessee Three”. In 2016 they were featured in the TV show “Caffeine and Octane” on Velocity Channel, following Hot Rod Walt doing a flame job on a 50 Mercury and then live performance from the band. In 2017 Hot Rod Walt was a host on Caffeine and Octane. Hot Rod Walt has also been a part in many TV shows and major motion pictures.
