OUTPOST: Claudia Hoyser with Jesse Harmon & Gracie Lane
– ALL AGES- STANDING ROOM ONLY- RAIN OR SHINE CLAUDIA HOYSERAn American country music artist from Upstate New York with 120 million streams and counting. Claudia is capturing hearts around the globe with her sweet, sultry and sassy fingerprint sound and relatable personality. She is also recognized as a social influencer and “the girl in the hat” with her own flourishing coffee and whiskey brand called “Hoyser Country.” Claudia’s an independent artist opening for acts like Keith Urban, Blake Shelton, Riley Green, Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert, Brantley Gilbert, Ryan Bingham and many more. Her songs have been featured on CMT, in international movies, national advertising campaigns and ESPN’s Reel Talk Radio. She is on the road this summer bringing new music to new friends with her acoustic guitar player and making a special point to stop at one of her favorite states, for her Asheville debut! Make sure to come say hello after the show! JESSE HARMAN Born on the salty marshes of the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Jesse Harman cut his teeth as a bass player doing bluegrass music at virtually every hole in the wall dive bar up and down the East Coast, writing songs and performing with the West King String Band for the better part of a decade. Jesse has in recent years devoted most of his time writing and performing with the Asheville blues/punk/soul band The Squealers (Jesse on vocals/harmonica) which is a brainchild of his that has proven to be a vessel for his ribald showmanship and eccentricity as a musician. Solo performances are somewhat few and far between, but provide a much more introspective and sensitive delivery of songs that draw from bluegrass, folk, and blues; delivered with a quit whit and the kind of tongue and cheek sarcasm that has the power to make you laugh or cry at the same time. His far fetched tales of being raised in a bar, living on the road, and the heartache and joy that come from a life lived fearlessly are etched in his songs, with as much truth as here is exaggeration. GRACIE LANE Originally from Arkansas, Gracie Lane has been local to Asheville for close to 10 years now. Lonesome Highway says, “Lane has a haunting voice that brings real character to the recording. [Her debut album is] a very self-assured debut that comes highly recommended.”

Paulette settled in Nashville in 2015, where she struck up a mentorship with Ashley Gorley – a veteran songwriter with 60+ No. 1 tunes under his belt – which ultimately led to her publishing deal with Sea Gayle Music in June 2021. Since collaborating with songwriters Will Bundy, Rhett Akins and Jessie Jo Dillion, as well as opening for Mason Ramsey, Parmalee, John Michael Montgomery, Clay Walker and most recently Aaron Watson, Paulette has landed brand partnerships with Justin Boots, Boot Barn, Ely Cattleman and Ranch Water. Her debut album The Girl I Was, is available now, showcasing Paulette’s finely calibrated blend of toughness and sensitivity in tracks like “Country In The Girl” and “Pretty Ugly.” Wearing her heart on her sleeve, Grammy.com remarked it as “transformative,” noting “fuses the sounds of Twain and Miranda Lambert, tackling mental health with the somber ‘You Ain’t No Cowboy’ and waxing philosophical on ‘Country In The Girl.’ Paulette continued to spotlight her authentic western lifestyle, performing the national anthem at the National Finals Rodeo, making her Grand Ole Opry Debut and performing in multiple festivals including CMA Fest. As Paulette readies her sophomore album in 2024, she recently signed with independent label Leo33. For more information, visit www.jennapaulette.com.
Honky Tonk Ball ft. John Howie Jr & the Rosewood Bluff and Hearts Gone South

ALL AGESSTANDING ROOM ONLYJOHN HOWIE JR & THE ROSEWOOD BLUFF In 1995, John Howie Jr.’s honky-tonk band, the Two Dollar Pistols, emerged out of the North Carolina alt-country explosion that gave the world Whiskeytown and the Backsliders, among others. The Pistols spent twelve years traveling around the United States and Europe, making records for the esteemed Yep Roc label with an updated, soulful take on old-school country and honky-tonk sounds. Over the course of seven albums – including a series of duets with Grammy nominee Tift Merritt – Howie and the band developed a sizable following, packing clubs on the East Coast and being flown to festivals in Europe, while the band’s albums regularly appeared on the Americana chart. In that time, the Pistols shared the stage with a veritable who’s-who of country music legends, including Merle Haggard, Billy Joe Shaver, Dale Watson, BR-549, the Derailers, and many more, and were invited to play at Opryland in 2003. When the Two Dollar Pistols went on an extended hiatus in 2008, Howie set about forming a new group, an expansion on the Pistols’ sound that broadened its musical scope to incorporate other influences that had crept into John’s songwriting, like Southern soul, rhythm and blues and country-rock. That group, John Howie Jr. and the Rosewood Bluff, has released two full-length albums, and, like the Pistols, the Rosewood Bluff has shared the stage with big names like the legendary George Jones, Wayne Hancock, Shovels and Rope, Dale Watson and many more. Both of the Rosewood Bluff’s albums, 2011’s Leavin’ Yesterday and 2014’s Everything Except Goodbye, were met with critical acclaim and received steady airplay on key programs like Sirius/XM’s Outlaw Country. The band’s five piece line up – that includes Nathan Golub on pedal steel guitar, Tim Shearer on electric guitar, Mark Connor on bass and Dave Hartman on drums, with Howie on acoustic and lead vocals as always- allows for movement between honky-tonk shuffles, driving country-rock numbers, and deep soul ballads, all delivered via Howie’s rich baritone. Howie spent the majority of 2016/2017 in the studio and on the road playing drums for Bloodshot Records artists Sarah Shook and the Disarmers, receiving a co-writing credit for the song, “Fuck Up,” from the album Sidelong. He left the Disarmers in late 2017 to continue to work on his own music, and released his critically acclaimed solo album, Not Tonight, which featured members of the Disarmers and the Rosewood Bluff, in September 2018. 2020 found John and the Rosewood Bluff releasing the “Better Things” single and video and working on a new album of original material, Never Enough, for release in 2023. HEARTS GONE SOUTH Original classic-style country and honky tonk full of heart and soul, laced with wit and woe. Bringing fire and feeling to the age-old stories of heartbreak, love, loss, and victory for the underdog. They shoot straight from the hip with impassioned vocals, a tight rhythm section, and smoking leads to hit their target dead on. Hearts Gone South is based out of Asheville, NC, with members hailing from Asheville, Bristol TN/VA and Shelby NC, they have played sawdust strewn floors to festival stages everywhere from Anchorage to Atlanta. Hearts Gone South has 3 albums under their belts, with a fourth one on the way, capturing hearts and putting a wiggle in the walk in folks near and far.
